Linda Waller
Founder + CEO + Allergy Patient
Diagnosed with a nut allergy at age 4, Linda has spent her life lugging her EpiPens everywhere. Growing up in Montana, this was especially inconvenient during her activities and sports, including equestrian eventing, long-distance running, backpacking, and skiing. She has always wanted a more convenient alternative.
During a reaction in college, she was shocked to realize she had forgotten her EpiPens in her gym bag. As her throat began to close, she had no choice but to run across campus for help.
After this traumatizing experience, she started talking to other allergy patients about their dissatisfaction with current devices. She heard many heartbreaking stories of fatalities among other young and active patients, simply because their EpiPens were frustrating to carry. Linda designed the EpiGo as a critical answer to this simple and obvious problem. Life with an allergy is hard enough; lifesaving devices shouldn’t make it harder.
